Welcome

Welcome to the Internet home of the San Gabriel Valley Radio Control League.

Freeway Close!
SGVRCL is one of Southern California’s oldest radio control (RC) clubs and was chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) in 1961. We are proud to be the only RC club in SoCal with a public flying field. Our field is located at LA County’s Whittier Narrow Recreational Area and is open for flying to any member of the AMA.

Years of Experience Yours For The Asking
SGVRCL is comprised of over 115 members many of who are also amateur radio operators or Hams. Our members’ combined years of RC designing, building and flying RC aircraft lets us to offer anyone interested in learning to fly RC aircraft all the help they are ever likely to need.

Let Us Help You!
We simply love to help new people enter the hobby and learn how to fly the airplanes they buy almost ready to fly (ARF), assemble, or build

Ken,

You do need to reapply. Check your January Newsletter for details, or if you’ve tossed it, you can download from the Newsletter tab on this site.
