Just got out of a meeting with the park Superintendent.
The field closure dates have been changed a little. There are two dates to remember, Sunday, September 13th and Saturday, September 26th.
Both days the field will be closed for all types of flying. The park will be placing notices at the flying field for those that do not belong to the Yahoo group.
We also discused other concerns of the park including fly away airplanes and flying over the freeway and shotgun range. Lets all redouble our efforts to keep our airplanes within the boundaries of our flying field. Depth perception has always been a problem, but I feel if it is close enough to become an issue, then it’s too close to the out of bounds areas.
Lets keep our flying field safe and the park happy
