               Airplane Trimming 8:00am-8:45am

               Pilots meeting and Start 9:00am

WHERE:  SAN GABRIEL VALLEY RADIO CONTROL MODEL AIRPORT

ENTRY: $20.00

Join for a day of fun flying and low key competition.  We are going to fly both  Basic  and Sportsman sequences with judging and K factor scoring.  Awards for the top finishers in each category.  This the perfect event for first time pilots to test their skills and get scoring and feedback from judges and more experienced IMAC pilots.  We will be using the 2012 sequences posted below.

Pegasus Hobbies Beginner RC Classes Flyer (Click to ennlarge)

I have often heard conversations at meetings and at the field about getting new and younger blood into the hobby. Well, one of our most supportive sponsors, Pegasus Hobbies, is doing something about it. During June, they will be offering classes in basic RC for fathers and sons/daughters. (Marta, we should explain to them that we have women in this hobby too don’t ya know!)

If you know someone with a son or daughter who might be interested, encourage them to take advantage of this opportunity and get them to come down to the field after they have gotten a good start at Pegasus.
