Just talked to the Whittier Narrows Park representative and asked what is the latest news concerning the proposed park entrance gate fee and removal of all passes for the 2011 year. The Board Of Directors has not been able to review the proposals and concerns of the park user groups that will be affected. These include The model airplanes, rifle range, soccer fields, BMX track and softball fields. I guess no news is good news.
